Why KELD

The partner behind
your product performance.

THE CENTRAL IDEA

The product is the final result.
The value chain behind it is what makes it possible.

When an OEM selects a controller, a drive, or a custom electronic subsystem, they are not buying a component. They are making a strategic decision that affects their product’s reliability, their brand reputation, their compliance posture, and their ability to evolve over time.

Most electronics suppliers show you what they make. We show you why it works — and why it keeps working.

KELD integrates engineering and manufacturing into a single, traceable, quality-driven value chain. This is not a marketing claim. It is the operational reality that allows us to co-design your subsystem, industrialize it with discipline, produce it with flexibility, and support it for the full lifecycle of your product.

WHAT KELD MEANS FOR YOUR ROLE

Different priorities.
One partner that addresses them all.

You need a supplier that protects your brand, not just delivers a component. KELD gives you supply chain stability with a single, integrated partner for design and manufacturing. Risk reduction through proven quality governance, full traceability, and proactive lifecycle management. Strategic flexibility: the ability to evolve your product line without restarting the supplier search every time.

CEO / General Manager

You need a supplier that protects your brand, not just delivers a component. KELD gives you supply chain stability with a single, integrated partner for design and manufacturing. Risk reduction through proven quality governance, full traceability, and proactive lifecycle management. Strategic flexibility: the ability to evolve your product line without restarting the supplier search every time.

You need engineering depth, not just order-taking. KELD gives you a co-engineering team that understands DFM, DFT, and the reality of taking a design from prototype to qualified series. Direct access to hardware and firmware engineers who speak your language. Structured industrialization (APQP-informed) that catches problems before production, not during it.

You need electronics that enable your product roadmap, not constrain it. KELD gives you custom functionality that differentiates your product in ways catalog components cannot. Faster time-to-market through an integrated design-to-production partner. The ability to respond to market opportunities with firmware updates and design iterations — without starting from zero.

You need a supplier whose quality system survives your audit. KELD gives you ISO 9001 certification backed by documented control plans for every product family. Full unit traceability: components, production parameters, test results, and firmware versions. An audit-ready facility with pre-qualification documentation packages and structured onboarding support.

You need competitive cost, reliable supply, and a partner that simplifies your job. KELD gives you optimized BOM cost through custom design — you pay for what your product needs, nothing more. Flexible production that adapts to your demand patterns without long lead-time surprises. A single source for design, manufacturing, and compliance — one PO, one point of contact, one accountable partner.

FROM FLEXIBILITY TO RELIABILITY

Flexible manufacturing does not mean compromising quality. It means mastering complexity.

A factory optimized for catalog runs repeats the same process day after day. KELD operates differently: we produce multiple custom product families for multiple clients on the same production floor, reconfiguring lines as needed.

This demands a higher level of process discipline, tooling management, internal logistics, and quality control. It is harder.

And it is precisely what OEM clients need when their products are not standard, their volumes vary, and their specifications evolve.

The result: you get the responsiveness of a custom manufacturer with the quality discipline of a high-volume industrial operation.

THE VALUE CHAIN BEHIND EVERY UNIT

Every unit we deliver carries the full weight of our engineering, quality, and manufacturing system.

1.

Co-Engineering & DFM

Co-Engineering & DFM

We engage early, working alongside your engineering team to optimize design for manufacturability, testability, and cost — before a single prototype is built. Less rework. Faster qualification. Traceable evidence at every stage.

2.

Quality Planning from Day One

Quality Planning from Day One

We apply advanced product quality planning (APQP) principles to anticipate risks, define control points, and reduce surprises during ramp-up. Quality is not an inspection step at the end; it is built into the project architecture from the start.

3.

Industrialization & Flexible Production

Industrialization & Flexible Production

Our production model handles the complexity that custom OEM electronics demand: varying batch sizes, multi-reference scheduling, rapid changeovers, and full traceability — all within a single, integrated facility.

4.

Testing & Traceability

Testing & Traceability

Every unit is tested, logged, and traceable. When you need to investigate a field issue, respond to an audit, or verify a batch configuration, the data is there — complete and accessible.

5.

Lifecycle Continuity

Lifecycle Continuity

Products live in the market for years, sometimes decades. Regulations change. Components reach end-of-life. Markets demand new features. KELD manages these transitions proactively, so your product stays current and your supply chain stays uninterrupted.

THE ELECTRONIC HEART OF YOUR PRODUCT

We build the subsystem your customers will judge you by.

A motor without the right drive is just a piece of metal. A ventilation unit without the right controller is just a box with a fan. A refrigeration system without precise temperature management is a liability. The electronic subsystem inside your product is what determines its performance, its efficiency, its reliability, and ultimately your customer’s experience.

That is why choosing your electronics partner is not a procurement decision — it is a strategic one. KELD treats your subsystem as what it truly is: the technology core that defines your product’s competitive position.

A PARTNERSHIP THAT COMPOUNDS OVER TIME

The longer we work together, the more value we deliver.

The first project with KELD establishes the foundation: engineering alignment, quality standards, production validation. From the second project onwards, everything accelerates. We already know your product architecture, your compliance requirements, your preferred interfaces, and your quality expectations.

For clients with recurring production series, this accumulated knowledge translates into tangible advantages: faster response to design changes, proactive cost optimization across production runs, smoother inventory and planning coordination, priority in production scheduling, and continuous product improvement informed by field data and manufacturing insights.

This is what separates an ongoing industrial partnership from a transactional supplier relationship — and why our longest-standing clients consistently expand the scope of what they entrust to KELD.

INNOVATION THROUGH ELECTRONICS

Your electronics partner does not just protect your product. It can transform it.

Custom electronics open a door that off-the-shelf components cannot: the ability to differentiate your product in ways your competitors cannot replicate. A proprietary control algorithm that delivers better efficiency. A connectivity architecture that enables predictive maintenance. A user interface that sets your equipment apart.

KELD’s co-engineering model means your product managers and R&D teams have a direct channel to electronics engineering expertise. When you see a market opportunity — a new feature, a performance edge, a cost reduction — we can evaluate feasibility, prototype quickly, and industrialize with the same discipline we apply to everything we produce.

The result: your product roadmap is not constrained by what is available on the market. It is enabled by what we can engineer together.

OUR FACILITY

One integrated facility. Every capability under one roof.

Our design and manufacturing facility at Zaragoza, houses every capability under one roof: electronic engineering and PCB design, SMD and through-hole assembly, automated optical inspection, functional testing, conformal coating, mechanical integration, and final packaging. We are currently doubling our capacity with a second facility adjacent to our main building, expanding our production floor, engineering offices, and warehouse space.

This integration is not a convenience. It is a competitive advantage. It means faster iteration between engineering and production. It means issues identified in testing can be resolved within hours, not weeks. It means your product moves from design to delivery within a single, quality-controlled environment.
