Ready on paper. Not ready in production.
On paper, the supplier was ready. The board worked. The plan looked complete.
Then production started, and the real differences appeared — in cost, in delays, or in the field.
Two suppliers can start with the same board and reach very different results. The gap often appears later, when it is already expensive to fix.
By then the problem is inside your product, with your name on it.
The difference is visible earlier than most teams think — before production, while there is still time to act. The same starting point can lead to seven different outcomes, and you can see which one you are heading for before the first batch, not after.
